--> Linux Sabayon team released the  Sabayon Linux  10 on 13th September.Sabayon is a Gentoo based Linux Distro and you can use it on your home computers,laptops and servers.Sabayon Linux comes with KDE,Gnome 3,Mate and Xfce desktop environments.In this release Sabayon is based on Linux Kernel 3.5.4 .The new versions of desktop environments are included in sabayon 10; KDE 4.9,Gnome 3.4,Xfce 4.10.The The KDE 4.9 will be updated to KDE 4.9.1 after a few days.Libreoffice 3.6 comes by default in the latest Sabayon.Lets check what is new in Sabayon Linux ?

Bridge Linux 2012.8 "Xfce" edition, an Arch-based distribution and live CD has been released.From the release announcement of Bridge Linux 2012.8 : "Bridge 2012.8. It was requested a lot, and now it's here: GRUB 2 is the default bootloader in Bridge Linux 2012.8. There are a few notes about this - first, the bootloader install should detect all operating systems on the system, but it will change the root kernel parameter of Arch installs with a vanilla kernel. There are quite a few changes: fixed the /etc/hosts file; fixed the Xfce X respawn error; fixed some mkinitcpio issues; fixed the installer; added French and Turkish language support in the installer; added menu item to run post-install script after first run; added instructions for proprietary GPU drivers...." From the release announcement : "The highlight of this edition is the latest Xfce 4.10 desktop, which features the following improvements: online documentation; application finder; multiple rows and deskbar mode in the panel; actions plugin; MIME type editor; single-click operation, automated background image cycling and thumbnail rendering on the desktop; edge-tiling in the window manager. In the past, the xfapplet plugin made it possible for Xfce users to run GNOME applets within the Xfce panel. After talking to the MATE and Xfce developers, we updated this plugin and it now supports MATE applets. Among the many MATE applets that can now run in Xfce, mintMenu is probably the most popular. What is siduction OS?

Siduction OS is a live cd and desktop distribution based on the "unstable" branch of Debian GNU/Linux.It comes with three desktop environments KDE,Xfce and LXDE.
Besides small enhancements the main aim behind this fix release is to ship the full set of KDE SC 4.8.4. The new desperado reloaded version is shipped with three desktop environments - KDE , Xfce and LXDE, all in 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.

LMDE is a semirolling linux distribution based on debian testing.It looks similar with the main linux mint edition except that it is based on debian testing instead of ubuntu.It is available in both 32 bit and 64 bit platforms and provides cinnamon,Mate and Xface user interfaces.
Linux mint debian edition is not compatible with ubuntu repositories but it is fully compatible with debian squeeze or Debian testing.
